Frogs Are Fun!
Costa Rica is home to a tremendous variety of amphibians (the field guide to amphibians of Costa Rica is waiting for me when I get back home from leading trips in Big Bend). Frogs are beautiful and beckoning photographic subjects. I enjoy the challenge of locating them, finding them in a great composition position, lighting them creatively, and trying to avoid blown highlights on their shiny skin.
The new M.Zuiko 90mm F3.5 MACRO IS PRO is great for photographing frogs, which can be a bit "jumpy" (booom, see what I did there?). The 90mm lens give you more working room than a 30mm or 60mm macro lens would provide.
