A unique method of mural-making is done with the Maxwell Photo-Mural Tank. This is a long plastic tube within which is a nylon mesh. After the image has been exposed on the piece of mural-size paper, the paper is rolled up with the mesh separating the layers. The roll of paper and mesh is then inserted into the tube and the developer is poured in and the end cap put on. The solution is agitated back and forth for the proper development time and is then poured out and the rinse or shortstop step follows. This then proceeds to the fixation step and the print is completed except for washing and drying.
