جائزة حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم الدولية للتصوير الفوتوغرافي
نبـذة عن الجـائزة
منذ مارس 2011 حين أعلن سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد ال مكتوم ولي عهد دبي عن تأسيسها بحضور ومباركة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي - رعاه الله - مضت جائزة حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم الدولية للتصوير الضوئي في خطن واثقة تستلهم أفكار مؤسسها ، مستهدفة بناء الإنسان من خلال صقل مهاراته والتقدم بطموحه إلى أفاق لا تعترف بوجود نهاية للتميز في مجال التصوير الضوئي ، في زمان باتت فيه الصورة أصدق شاهد على الحقيقة والأقدر على نقل الخبر بتفاصيل تغلي عن الكلمات .
واليوم تكمل الجائزة عامها السادس وقد ارتقت لآفاق معرفية ومهارية غليا ، استضاءة برؤية سمو ولي عهد دبي الذي حرص بمتابعته المستمرة وحرفيته الفنية البصرية المميزة على مزاملة خطوط تسارع الأداء في الجائزة مع خط تسارع النمو الرئيسي في دبي خاصة ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بشكل عام .
لقد نجحت الجائزة في تسجيل اسمها بحروف من نور على رأس قائمة المؤسسات البانية لشخصية الإنسان الفنية والثقافية ونشر ثقافة التصوير الضوئي من منظور حمالي ينتمي لمدرسة الفنون الصديقة للإنسان والتي تنثر في زوايا يومه ابحديات الخير والجمال والتفوق على التحديات ، في عالم بتنا نشهد فيه كل يوم مجرا جديدا للصورة التي أصبحت من أعظم الروابط التي تصل الشعوب وتعزف الثقافات وتنمي البناء الفكري للإنسان ، بجانب استقلاليتها المهنية التي تجمع بين تعقيد الخصائص والمواصفات وبساطة المبدأ والثوابت .
بناء الإنسان على رأس أولويات القيادة الحكيمة وليس للتدليل على ذلك أكثر من قول صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم الفرد هو العنصر الأساسي في القوة ، وطبيعي أن ينصب اهتمامنا الأول عليه دون غيره " ، ومن هذه الجملة تولدت مجمل الأهداف الاستراتيجية للجائزة والتي لم تقصر اهتمامها فقط على المواطن رغم أنه المستهدف الأول ، إلا أنها أبت إلا أن تواكب المكانة العالمية التي وصلت إليها دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بشكل عام وإمارة دبي على وجه التحديد في كل المجالات الاجتماعية والثقافية والعلمية والاقتصادية والرياضية .
ستة أعوام شهدت عملا دؤوبا من أعضاء مجلس أمناء الجائزة ، الذين التهجوا منهج النتائج المتفوقة على التحديات مهما تعاظمت ، تماشيا مع ارتفاع سقف التوقعات من جمهور الحائزة المتزايد المتعطش لجودة المعطيات وجذية المتابعة والاهتمام ، والذي أيقن أن القيم المتكاملة المستقاة منها خلال الأعوام الستة علامة بصرية لا تضاهى .

ABOUT HIPA
Since its launch in March 2011 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , the Crown Prince of Dubai and with the blessings and attendance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , UAE Vice President and Prime Minister , Ruler of Dubai , the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award ( HIPA ) has taken steady steps in its development and growth . It has put an emphasis on the building and development of man through honing human skills and nourishing ambitions that know no limits to excel in the field of photography . This was all achieved in an era where a photograph has become the most credible witness of the truth and the most effective means to deliver a message of a thousand words .
Today , as HIPA completes its sixth year , it has reached new and unprecedented achievements in developing the skills and knowledge of photographers . This success was inspired and guided by the vision of His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai who continuously followed up on the organisation's progress , using his keen artistic prowess and leadership skills to optimise its growth in conjunction with the fast development of Dubai and the UAE .
HIPA has established strong presence at the top of the list of institutions that work to build the artistic and cultural aspects of man , while spreading the culture of photography from an aesthetic perspective that will inspire people to overcome challenges in their everyday lives . This is very important in a world where photographs are increasingly becoming a main currency , and one of the most effective means which connects the world's different peoples and cultures . Not to mention the professional impartiality of photographs and their ability to combine complex thoughts and qualities with simplicity .
The development of man is one of the top priorities for wise leadership . This concept is crystallised in His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's words , " The individual is the main element of strength ; it is natural that we give the individual our utmost care above everything else . " This statement gave birth to all of HIPA's strategic goals , whose interests were not confined to UAE nationals - though they are the main target - as HIPA seeks to keep pace with the global stature attained by the UAE , in general , and the Emirate of Dubai , in particular , in all social , cultural , scientific , economic and sporting fields .
For six years , and despite the many challenges , the HIPA Board of Trustees have worked incessantly to achieve excellent results in the field of photography . This can be attributed to the high expectations put on by the fast growing audience that has an immense passion for new horizons in photography , and that appreciates the values . of the exceptional outcomes achieved .
